In this, I will be ranking them based on how good their moveset is, specials, jabs, grbas, and all.
He's a decent character, but not one of the best ones. He may have a very good recovery, but he doesn't have that good or bad of a moveset either. He has extremely high damage attacks, but takes a while for them to actually be used, which is like, 2 seconds of being freely attacked from behind. His spike ball can be easliy deflected, even if he can deflect as well, it will be deflect back at him even faster than before. He's just not that great.
This is a VERY hot take here. He can either destroy you, or get absolutlly destroyed by you. He has powerful moves, but there's one tiny problem. All his specials can fly off the edge and freefall. It's happened many times, even to Meta Mains. It's annoying. His jab is awsome though. It's a spam hold He's alright, but just kills himself way too much.
Personal Experience. Never Up-Throw a Bowser. They will either down air you, or Down-Special you, both are scary. But besides that, he's not the worst character. He's actually very good, just not compared to the rest of them. His Side-Special can either deal lots of damage, kill you, or just Kamakazie you if you can't recover. He's a great one, just not as good as the rest.
Ironic, right? The dad's worst than the son. Bowser Jr. is a very good character, having a very good projectile, a bomb, one of the strongest jabs, and a decent recovery too, horizontal or vertical. Clown Kart is a very good move. But something I want to highlight, is jab. Sounds weird, but will kill at around 100%. His bomb-koopas, aka his Down-Special, can be used for many things, a bomb to throw, or a bomb to let free and wander into someone and explode on them. His Up-Special can deal some damage too, just only under though. He's an excellent character, just not compared to the rest on this list though.
zHe's the definition of a heavyweight. He has extremely high damage, is super slowe, has a bad reovery, and can kill t 30%. He can even spike from below if he has the balls to. Two of his moves have blue-screen, and he can take you from 26% to 136% in 5 seconds. Your more likely to die before you even get to 80 though, so that's great! He has one problem though. He has lots of trouble with projectile. Take Link for example, he has 4 projectiles. And Ganodorf just can't reach Link with all the projectiles. He's a good character, until projectiles exist.
She's powerful, and has the handiest grab, a long-ranged one to be precise. Her throws aren't half-bad either. Her reverse-grab can kill if at a high percent and near the edge, her up-throws handy becuase Dark Samus is a real good juggler, and her forward throw isn't half-bad either. He Down-Throw is a little basic, but good nonetheless. Her side and neutral-specials all deal high amounts of damage. Her down-special can be used to horizontally rcover, or stall to avoid being juggled. Speaking of recovering, her grab can also tether-grab if needed. Her smash attacks can deal high amounts of damage, and so can her tilts. He only problem? She's a light-weight, so she dies at a lower percent than normal. She also has a problem with reflected attacks, either she can sheild, jump, or die. Choose your option.
W Plant Gang. Piranha Plant may not look good at first, until you try him, or lose to him. His neutral-b can kill anyone on a ledge, from above, or snipe them from the top. He has a good spike and recovery. His side and down-smashes deal high amounts of damage and knockback. His down-special has super-armor and high ranging sniping skills. His side-special is kinda useless, except ofr hiding a down-special from the opponent, assuming they're human. He's actually a little harder to main than most others though, which is why he's #7.
THis is kinda biased, but imma be as "fair" as possible. His moves are kinda overpowered, if they land. A great example of this? Skewer. It can deal high amounts of damage, the most ever in the game, but is really hard to land. Side-special can do 3 things, start an edge-guard, Kamakazie, or flig someone into the abyss, on omegas, battlefeilds, and on stages where you can walk off and die. His Up-Special has a somewhat of a super-armor, or at least, priority over some moves. His Up-special can be angled left, right, down, or up, but the first three can't be angled completley straight, like straight under you, or straight behind you, only angled slightly off. His neutral-special can get some people absolutly...annoyed to be light, at ledge camping Ridley players, kinda like me. Anyways, Some problems though, are that most of his moves have a small cooldown of 3 seconds before he can move again. Like Side-Special, or Up-Special, and even Skewer. They all give the opponent a chance to attack you, for missing the attack. He can almost always come back from the abyss, even a Bowser Kamakazie. He's a good character, just a combo-fest for fast characters, personal experience right there.
Sephiroth is here for 2 reasons. A), he's a DLC character, and B), he has the longest sword of any character, Ike, Pyra/Mythra, even Ganondorf. He has a counter where if he even touches you, it does damage, it's also a reflect, so good luck to those projectile players. His down-special can even get ledge-holders, and he has a move that does a large area of damage, and takes up half the stage. So yeah, he's a little scary. But he's not as scary as my next opinion, get ready to be upsetted at this one.
Yeah, I know, but I main Pit, and projectile players hate me when I choose that(ahem, UV). He has 2 reflecting moves, and a decent neutral-special. He can almost never fall in the abyss. He has 4 jumps, and a recovery so big, you can die from misclicking off the stage, happened many times to me, I hated it. His side-special is the real deal though. Not only does it deal high damage and knockback, but can relfect projectiles, and even has Super-Armor. The only problem is that his side-special has a cooldown like Ridley's of 2 seconds. But his smash-attacks are no push-over either. All his smash attacks are multi-hits, so it ignore counters sometimes. His side-smash is deadly, being a double hit. His up-smash is even scarier. It can hit people jumping from hanging on the ledge. His down-smash isn't as bad-either, hitting both sides of Dark-Pit. His reflects can also act as a decoy shield, though doesn't protect from above or below. He can also steer his arrow, but it's harder than most think. He's a great character, but doesn't have as good of a combo as the rest.
I've nevr played him before, and I won first try. His scariest move is either up-smash, or side-smash. Up-smash hits everywhere, behind, above, or in-front. He can isn't as fast as Fox, or even Falco. But he has damage to replace that. His side-smash is like Ganondorf or Dedede's, but is a little faster. His Down-Smash is as basic as Pit's, but still packs a punch. His neutral-special can deal higher amounts of damage than Falco or Fox's, but is fired slower, and can deal some extra if the opponent's hit right in front of it. His neutral-special can deal a high amount of damage if it's landed perfectly, though gives a free-fall, so watchout when your using it. His Up-Special is decent, I say this becuase it can deal a decent load of damage, but is bad for revovery, it's almost Ganondorf material. Plus, he has reflect, so that's a point in my book. He's one of the best characters availble, though just don't fall off the cliff, or you probably won't survive.
He's a menace. His motorcycle, aka the side-special, is the most annoying thing I've witnesses, besides Ness, but he doesn't count. It can be alive almost forever. It's only weakness are strong projectiles, and fire. He can heal himself, and, I don't know how, but he can fart so strong, it does a blue-screen and kills at a decently high percent. His smash-attack are meh, but he's really her becauase he's so annoying. Though, he's not as strong as the #1 character...
He's the strongest of villains, agrue with me. The fact that belly-armor exists is terrifying. He's a heavyweight, with a counter that can also be a reflect, two OP projectiles, one of which has super-armor, and one of the best recoveries ever, compared to heavyweights and villains anyways. His neutral and back-airs are the scarier of the bunch. One has belly-armor, and the other is extremly powerful. His neutral-special can beused to snipe recovering players, or simply replace the cannon with the oponent. His crown is extremely powerful, along with super-armor. He also,"always come back", from the abyss, so Bowser players, don't try to Kamakazie a K. Rool. This guy, is the scariest character ever seen in smash history...besides Pyra/Mythra and Kazuya.
